How to choose a safe and reliable insulation cup?

1. Preferred inner liner 304/316

The interior of the insulation cup is usually made of stainless steel, which is a high-quality insulation material that

 can effectively maintain temperature, but it is important to ensure that the material is safe and free from harmful substances.

So it is recommended to choose 304 or 316 stainless steel for the inner liner material, which is also labeled as 316L. 

Lactually means low-carbon and has the same safety as 316.

304 material is internationally recognized as food grade stainless steel, and there is no problem with filling food and water in homes.

316 material belongs to medical grade stainless steel, and its corrosion resistance is better than 304.

The insulation cup made of 316 stainless steel basically does not have the phenomenon of thermal expansion

 and contraction. If acidic drinks are accidentally filled, it will not cause corrosion and heavy metal leakage.

2. Pay attention to the GB4806.9-2016 standard

In China, there is another standard for food grade stainless steel, which is GB4806.9-2016 "National Food 

Safety Standards - Metal Materials and Products in Contact with Food".

3. The cup cover and straw are mainly made of silicone, PE, and PP

In addition to the inner liner, special attention should also be paid to the safety of the cup cover and straw nozzle.

 The material of the straw and nozzle is generally food grade silicone, TRITAN, and PP, which meet the quality 

inspection requirements. There is no need to worry about safety issues.

Avoid materials containing BPA (bisphenol A) to avoid causing premature puberty in children.

4. Other details to pay attention to

Sealing: Sealing is crucial for the performance of the insulation cup. Check the cover, sealing ring, and switch 

of the insulation cup to ensure they are effectively sealed to prevent temperature drop or liquid leakage.
